Ohio, Missouri & Rochester, oh my! – by Robert Caplin
I’m very excited to announce the launch of Photo Brigade’s newest regional blogs: Ohio, Missouri, and Rochester!
The concept is the same as this Photo Brigade blog, to use social media to promote the work of the individual photographers we feature, but each regional branch will be focusing on promoting specifically the work and blogs of students, alumni, and faculty from each respective university. The intent is to take advantage of social media’s viral nature and combine our collective networks in order to strengthen the networks of each photographer and build an even larger network to showcase quality photography.
The Ohio Photo Brigade will be featuring Ohio University (VisCom) students, alumni, and faculty. The blog will be edited and moderated by VisCom graduate student Ty Wright and if you’re interested in submitting your blog or website to be featured, go to the submission page. The Missouri Photo Brigade will be featuring Missouri University (Mizzou) students, alumni, and faculty. The blog will be edited and moderated by Mizzou student Charles Ludeke. The Rochester Photo Brigade will be featuring Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) students, alumni, and faculty. The blog will be edited and moderated by RIT student Rob Weber.
